Pokemon Lucario Look-Alike

Here we have the much anticipated Lucario pattern. I do apologize for taking so long to get him online. I finally had the chance to do a photo shoot with my nephew's Lucario. He's been loved on pretty hard in the last year, so cut him some slack when you look at the pics. :)

I am working on this pattern and noticed to said for the nose round 8 to sc 1 and increase in next 3 times and sc in last 8 to get 17 stitches but when ending with 12 in row 7 that does not work out. I didn't see another way to get in touch with you but I am thinking perhaps it's a typo? And the increase should only be done twice? I am trying to get this finished up so any help would be appreciated. Ty for the pattern and help.
