Just found your blog and already know this is going to be one of my favs! Great work, great ideas!
This is a cool project. And very thoughtful of you!
I am working on a baby afghan for a new little guy in my daughter's workplace. Keeping it simple because she wanted it to give "yesterday." LOL!
Hope all is going well for you there in the Sunshine state. Still cool here in the Midwest and rainy. Still lovin' your blog!
Love this! Anyway you'd be willing to sell the pattern to me? I cant seem to find anywhere online that still has the pattern! Thanks!
Anyway you'd be willing to sell the pattern to me? I can't seem to find any where online that still sells it. Thanks in advance.
Where can I find this pattern?? I have been looking for it and I can't find it. I would love to have this while sitting the sidelines watching my oldest son play football.
Where can I find this pattern?
I have desperately searched the internet for this football afghan pattern with no success. I also looked for the original publication willing to buy it with again no success. Any suggestions where I can find this pattern to purchase? Any help is greatly appreciate :)
Hi all. I will address all of the pattern questions in this post. My advice is to look on Amazon.com and type in the name of the book in the search box. I have looked it up several times for different people and it's always there. Good luck!
Thank you so much. I found it and will be ordering it soon. :)
I assume the book is the one in the last picture?? If so it is on the way to my house, too!
Do you know the finished size of the blanket?
Thanks for posting this pic- I was sent here (by a customer) from Pinterest! Congrats!

Hi Lindsey,
Yes the last picture is the book. I have never looked at what the final measurement says in the book and I've never measured mine. Sorry i can't help you there.

Love this throw! What a nice thing to do too for their tutor. :)
is there a pattern for the football blanket???
Looked this book up on Amazon and its $114.37 as of the day of this post. I don't think I will be getting it. Maybe Ill try it by attempting to mimic it.
This pattern is available in Annie's Quick and Easy Crochet to Go," Aug/Sept 1998, Number 112 or Annie's Favorite Special Occasions Crochet Projects. The cheapest I've been able to find it is $40. I'm holding out for something a little more reasonable. Good luck! I'm hoping I get luck :)
I thought I had found the perfect Christmas gift for my grandson who plays center on his team but with the cheapest price $40 plus the cost of the yarn, he won't be getting this. Being retired and on a fixed income makes it impossible, especially with regular living expenses going up daily.
check out http://www.bonanza.com and search for Football Afghan Crochet Pattern Blanket there is one listed but it is over 25.00 dollars.
I would like to make the football throw but where do I find the pattern? Thank you:)
