It does fade slower than the other cotton for household use but it produces smaller cloths. I'm off to Denver for a conference at the end of August and I see that I'm 8 minutes away from Joanns so I might pop in there and pick up some dishcloth cotton. Always interested in conversations about yarn because I'm looking to branch out from the usual local offerings. Also interested in Candiana cotton.KathyNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07755195023555843403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37028268.post-89688987401425881482014-04-11T17:18:29.309-05:002014-04-11T17:18:29.309-05:00Thanks for the heads up on the shipping! I've noticed more cotton yarns lately that are designed more for fabrics than cleaning. I had to buy a couple for some doll patterns that I purchased that had specific yarn requirements. Without knowing the yarn, I wasn't comfortable trying to substitute until I tried it first. It was a light cotton yarn and would not have been suitable for dishcloths. I have seen some worsted that again seems more like an attempt for natural fibers substituting for acrylic worsted.

That being said I don't have any experience with Knit Picks cotton. I tend to buy some of their fingering weight yarns for doll projects because I can't get the colors I need in other places.Sheltie Timeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09767754895398722143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37028268.post-49292514035175007782014-04-10T13:41:17.866-05:002014-04-10T13:41:17.866-05:00I ordered some yarn Knit Picks recently. Their shipping leaves a lot to be desired, but that might be more a Fed-ex/post office problems. Took 3 weeks for the first box. I had contacted the company and they had sent out a replacement package with took over two weeks to arrive. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04146335529675028622noreply@blogger.com
