Hefty yarn needle for assembly. (I find a #13 is easiest on my hands)

Finished Size Approx 12-14 inches tall.

BODY: Starting @ neck with white

**1st Leg, Right Leg**
33- sc in 28, sk 28 (leave unworked), join with sl st in next sc. (28) Mark your 1st sc.
34- ch1, sc in sm sp and next 12sc, 2sc in next sc, sc in 2sc, 2sc in next sc, sc in 11sc. Do not join. (30)
35-38- sc in each.
39- BLO, (sc in 3sc, sc dec) around (24)
40- Both loops, (sc in 2sc, sc dec) around. (18)

Cut, leaving a long end for sewing closed. Weave into each of the remaining 6sc and pull tight. Weave ends and finish.
**2nd Leg, Left Leg**
33- join with sc in the 1st sc to the left of the right leg on row 32, sc in 28, sl to inside of first leg, join with 1st sc.
34-42- repeat as for the first leg skipping the sl st from row 33 of this leg. Stuff firmly before closing.
**Neck Fur: with white. Looking @ the body from the top.
Join at the seam in open loops on row 4 w/sl st, (ch3, sl st in sm sp and next sp, ch4, sl st in sm sp and next sp) repeat around. Cut and weave ends.
**Chest Horn: with white, ch2
1- 6sc in second ch from hk. (6)
2- 2sc in each sc around. (12)
3-4- sc in each.
Cut leaving a long end for sewing. Stuff lightly, sew to the center of the chest.
HEAD: with blue

19-22- sc in each. Stuff very firmly. You may even want to reinforce the neck with a small tube or piece of plastic canvas. The head gets very heavy towards the end. You may want to pin the end shut until you are ready to sew the head on, then do your reinforcement just before sewing the head to the body.
Cut leaving a long end for sewing.
**Nose: with blue

sl st to 1st hdc. Cut leaving a long end for sewing. Stuff. Sew to face with hdc increases on top.
**Grey Face Markings: Start with nose and Grey Heather
(RS)1- ch3, sc in 2nd ch from hook and next (2)
2-4- ch1, turn, sc in each.
5- ch1, turn, 2sc in 1sc, 1sc in next (3)
6- ch1, turn, 2sc in 1sc, sc in 2sc (4)
7- ch1, turn, 2sc in 1sc, sc in 3sc (5)
**1st Side**
8- ch1, turn, 2sc in 1sc, leave rem st unworked (2)
9- ch1, turn, sc in 1sc, 2sc in next (3)
10- ch1, turn, 2sc in 1sc, sc in 2sc (4)
11- ch1, turn, sc in each to the last sc, 2sc in last (5)
12-20- ch1, turn, sc in each. Cut, weave ends.
**Middle**
8- rejoin with first open sc, sc in 3, leave rem unworked (3)
9-22- ch1, turn, sc in each. Cut, weave ends.
**2nd Side**
8- rejoin with last sc, 2sc (2)
9-20- repeat 1st side, only mirror increases.
Cut, leave a really long end for sewing.
Pin to face, starting chain end to tip of nose, place row 7 @ edge of nose. pin sides and middle to head, sew on making sure not to let the pieces shift.Embroider the tip of the nose with grey.
**Ears: Starting @ the top with blue. Make 2.

1- 2sc in 2nd ch from hook. (2)
2- ch1, turn, 2sc in 1st sc, sc in last (3)
3- ch1, turn, 2sc in 1st sc, sc in each (4)
4-5- repeat row 3. (6)
6-10- ch1, turn, sc in each. Don't cut.
**Edge with sc in each row end, 3sc in tip. (23sc) Do not edge the bottom of ear. Embroider black onto ear. Fold the bottom slightly when sewing them on to the top of the head. This will help the ear to stand.
**Shoulders: Make 2 with grey

Stuff, Cut and sew on to the shoulders.
**Arms: Make 2, starting with grey at hands.
1- ch5, sc in 2nd ch and next 2 ch, 3sc in last, sc in 2 open ch on opp side, 2sc in last ch. (10)
2- 2sc in 1st sc, sc in 2sc, 2sc in 2sc, sc in 4sc, 2sc in last sc. (14)
3- 2sc in 2sc, sc in 2sc, 2sc in 2sc, sc in 8sc (18)
4-5- sc in each.
6- (sc dec twice, sc in 2sc ) 3times (12)
7-8- sc in each sc, Join blue, don't cut grey
9- in blue, sc in 1sc, chg to grey, sc in 4sc, chg to blue, sc in 7sc (8blue, 4grey)
10- repeat row 9
11- in blue, sc in 1sc, chg to grey, 2 sc dec, chg to blue, sc in rem sc (8blue, 2grey)
12- in blue, sc in 1sc, chg to grey, 1 sc dec, chg to blue, sc in rem sc (8blue, 1grey) CUT GREY.
13-23- blue only, sc in each. Stuff
24- sc dec 4 times, sc in last (5) join. Cut leaving long end for sewing. Sew onto shoulder. Arm should be loose and floppy at shoulder for ease of motion.
**Arm 'claws': Make 2 with white

1- 3sc in 2nd ch from hook (3)
2- 2sc in each (6)
3- sc in each.
Cut and sew on the back of the arm.
**Legs: Make 2, with grey.
1- (ch2, 4sc in 2nd ch from hook) 4 times making sure to skip over connecting piece and crocheting in a circle (16sc-4circles)
RS-2- [3sc in 1st sc, sc in next, (going to the next circle)] repeat 3times, sc in 2sc, 3sc in next, (sk to next circle, sc in 1sc, 3sc in 1sc) 2times, sk to next circle, sc in 2. (30sc)
3- sc dec 15 times. (15)
4-11- sc in each
12- sc in 5sc, 2sc in 2sc, sc in 4sc, (sc dec)2x (15)
13- sc in 6sc, 2sc in 2sc, sc in 4sc, (sc dec) 2x ( This will take you into the 1st st of next row) 15sc.
14- 1st st is the new 1st sc of row, move your marker here.- sc in each.
15- sc in 4sc, sc dec, sc in 3sc, sc dec, scin 4sc (13)
16-19- sc in each.
Join, cut leaving a long end for sewing. Stuff. If a small hole appears in the toe, just use some grey and weave it closed. Lightly shape the toes across row 4 with grey. Embroider pink dots on the back of heel and all 4 toes.
**Tail: With blue

18-30- sc in each. Finish stuffing.
31- sc dec 5times, join, cut, sew to butt.
**Head Frills/Hair: Make 4, Stuff medium.

4-6- sc in each, start stuffing at end of row 6

15- sc in each. Don't cut, Pinch the top closed, sc both sides together into one seam, Don't sew to head yet.
**After all 4 frills are made, sc the frills together along the flattened end. Sew to the head in one piece along the back.
**Eyes: Make 2 with white

3- ch1, turn, (2sc in 1sc, 1sc in next) 3times, (9)
4- ch3, sc in 2nd ch and next ch, sc in sm sp as 1st sc on round, sc in 3 open sc, sc in next shared space, 1sc on row edge, join with outside edge and finish off. Leave a long end for sewing.
Embroider small black dot with red around the outside of the black. Sew Eye to face.
