Calypso Crab Jar Huggers
by Elizabeth Mareno
The Calypso Crab Jar Huggers pattern was designed as part of the 2018 Mermaid CAL. The pattern includes both Quart and Pint-sized patterns. The quart jar pattern features not only the Calypso Crab stitch but also bobbles to represent small seashells. The pint hugger focuses mainly on the Calypso Crab stitch.
These were designed to use 100% cotton yarn. My favorite for these types of projects, because of the color range (75 colors including variegated) and the softness, is Hobby Lobby's I Love This Cotton. I, personally, have several of these jar huggers and they are lovely for keeping the drink sweat from ruining my surfaces!
Here's the pattern: You can also get an ad-free version on ETSY or my website.
