Crafty Updates cont'd
I swear...this is the last of my updates!
This is the other toy that I made for the Toy Swap on C'ville. The little girl is 1-1/2 yrs old, so I made her a baby doll with a backpack. The doll fits in the bag if she wants to stuff her in there, or she can just carry the doll and stuff other things in the bag....

The little girls hair is brown with touches of red....but I just LOVED this yarn when I found it for the dolly's hair...it's not too red is it?
Rocket Ship Design
I'm not even sure I should blog about this, but here is my latest toy design. I am not sharing the pattern at this time...because hubby thinks I need to pursue publication for this one.....? I'll just let the pictures tell the story....

This was designed because I joined a Toy Swap on C'Ville and the little boy that I had to create something for just had his room redone in a "Space" theme. Well, if you've ever looked for space themed toys online...aliens are about it...so I came up with my own. My son thoroughly enjoyed being my 'model' for these pictures....I think I see one of these in his future....don't you? (As well as 3 little nephews...??...Christmas IS coming!)
Crafty Updates
We'll start with my creative daughter!

She designed this beautiful necklace and earrings set. It's made from Czech druks in turquoise (6mm and 4mm size), Swarovski spacers in silver, 4mm swarovski clear bicones, 4mm swarovski tanzanite bicones and green quartz rondelles. With a glass heart for a pendant. She did such an awesome job and gets compliments on it every time she wears it!

And here is what I worked on during the camping trip! I decided I had to get it done out there cuz I wanted to take pictures by the lake. Presenting the AG Fun and Funky Witch Halloween Costume!

Notice the neon green spider??...

Big Collar....and belt....

July Camping Trip
Here's our July Camping Trip. I've been such a terrible blogger! We had about 3 weeks of nothing but go, go, go and this is really the first time I've had the chance to sit long enough to even think about cropping pics and blogging!!

These first two pics are a little out of sync...first they tested the water..THEN they went in it!

Here's our camp site complete with mini-private lagoon! It stayed this 'neat' looking for about 2 hours....then we started 'living' in it for 4 days....

Our very first day and next morning there were frigid...but it made for a gorgeous morning. This is the mist coming off the lake at about 6:30 am....yeah...I'm not a late sleeper....

We all made instant friends with the family camping next to us. Stef and Teo hung out with their boys every day, all day.... Teo even had his own 'rubber knife gang' to hang around with....
