Are rows 2-14 in the bodice done in rows or rounds?
ReplyDeleteThey are done in Rows. Thanks for the question!
ReplyDeleteI love this pattern but my count isn't coming out right. At the end of row 15, I end up with 49 stitches. I've counted and counted and it's still wrong...just checking that all is well with the pattern. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this amazing pattern!!! It was fun to make and it turned out great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this cute easy pattern! Is the back between the skirt and button left open--not sewn together?
ReplyDeleteHi Charlene! I think I may have seen the piece up a little on her bum part. You can either see it or leave it open.
DeleteBiz
Not 'see'...sew. Stupid autocorrect
DeleteYou have some of the most Beautiful patterns I`ve seen for a long time!! Thanks for sharing them with all of us, especially FREE....VERY kind of you. Cant seem to spend enough time looking at all of them. Thank You, Cookie
ReplyDeleteI love your patterns and as a newer crocheter thank you for providing them free!
ReplyDeleteI want to convert this pattern to come out working for the AG Bitty Baby, 15". That doll has bigger hips/behind than just the 18" AG. The dress bodice, Ch 51, where is that starting at on the doll's body? Is it supposed to fit around the doll by the hips/behind area?
Thanks
Hi Bailey,
ReplyDeleteYes, this pattern starts at the hips.
Is there a pattern for lefties or a you tube tutorial?
ReplyDeleteNo there isnt.
DeleteNo there isnt.
DeleteOk my question is, is it all crocheted as one piece? And at the end of row 15, I had 7 sc left. Also, what does RS, sm sp, stand for? How do I get from row 29 back to row 20? I'm confused. Please help. Also, I had to use a 5.00mm hook.
ReplyDeletebeautiful patterns. I am planning to make the dresses and other outfits for my daughter to use with her dolls. thank you for all the great ideas
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the beautiful patterns. I am making these for my daughter to dress her 18 inch dolls with and letting her pick the colors she wants to use for them.
ReplyDeleteI love your patterns. I am a new crochet as my granddaughters wanted more clothes for their American Girl Dolls. I am making the Simplicity dress but as per row 15 don't understand SC Dec - can you describe how this is done. Thank you.

DeleteHere is a YouTube video of a single crochet decrease.
Thank you the video helped.
ReplyDeletenow I'm confused ...
If I am looking at what I have crocheted so far 1-20 , on the side which I started from (r side), which side of the pattern do I start LEFT BACK back on?
Are you supposed to see the side/ends of the bodice together? It looks like you have a button but don't mention that anywhere
ReplyDelete** Sew shoulders together with right sides facing. Weave in ends.
DeleteThis is right after the last shoulder instruction.
