Current WIP

Working on a football afghan as a gift for my kids' algebra tutor. This good man has met with my kids every week for more than 6 months without ever asking for a thing from us. Just want to bless him back. His favorite team is Alabama Crimson Tide, hence the color choice.

I am working on a baby afghan for a new little guy in my daughter's workplace. Keeping it simple because she wanted it to give "yesterday." LOL!

  8. Hi all. I will address all of the pattern questions in this post. My advice is to look on Amazon.com and type in the name of the book in the search box. I have looked it up several times for different people and it's always there. Good luck!

  10. I assume the book is the one in the last picture?? If so it is on the way to my house, too!

Do you know the finished size of the blanket?

Thanks for posting this pic- I was sent here (by a customer) from Pinterest! Congrats!

Yes the last picture is the book. I have never looked at what the final measurement says in the book and I've never measured mine. Sorry i can't help you there.

  15. This pattern is available in Annie's Quick and Easy Crochet to Go," Aug/Sept 1998, Number 112 or Annie's Favorite Special Occasions Crochet Projects. The cheapest I've been able to find it is $40. I'm holding out for something a little more reasonable. Good luck! I'm hoping I get luck :)

  16. I thought I had found the perfect Christmas gift for my grandson who plays center on his team but with the cheapest price $40 plus the cost of the yarn, he won't be getting this. Being retired and on a fixed income makes it impossible, especially with regular living expenses going up daily.
