1 oz each of 2 colors- 100% Cotton worsted weight

#6 White & #326 Curry

·       US #7/4.5mm crochet hook

·       Yarn needle

Skill: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate

Gauge: WW- #7- Rows 1-4 in pattern= 4” diameter Ø

Finished Size: 8-1/2 inches Ø

Special Stitches:
Picot:  ch3, sl st in the 1st ch
3 Picot: (ch3, sl st in the 1st ch) 3x, sl st into the first ch of the first picot to close.

() and {}- work instructions between parentheses and brackets stated number of times

NOTE:

1                The dishcloth is worked in the round with the RS always facing.

2                DO NOT skip any stitches on any of the rounds.

3                All chains at the beginning of the round do not count as a stitch.

4                Join every round with sl st in the first stitch.

 Pattern:

Start with Color 1

Rd 1: (RS) MR, ch3 (not a dc), 12 dc in the ring, sk ch 3 and join with the first dc. (12 dc)

Rd 2: (RS) ch2, 2dc in the join st, 2dc in each dc around, join. (24 dc)

Rd 3: ch2, dc in the join sp, 2dc in the next dc, dc in the next 2 dc, working immediately below the last dc- FPtr around the post between Rds 1 & 2, (dc in the next dc, 2dc in the next dc, dc in the next 2 dc, FPtr around the post between Rds 1 & 2) 5 times, join. (30 dc, 6 FPtr)

Rd 4: ch2, dc in the join st, dc in the next st, 2dc in the next st, (dc in 2 dc, 2dc in the next st) 11 times, join. (48 dc)

Cut Color 1

Join Color 2 in the join st with a St Dc (see special stitches).

Rd 5: dc in the next 3 dc, FPtr around the dc 2 rounds below the last dc, (dc in the next 4 dc, FPtr around the FPtr 2 rounds below, dc in the next 4 dc, FPtr around the dc 2 rounds below) 5 times, dc in 4 the next dc, FPtr around the FPtr 2 rounds below, join. (48 dc, 12 FPtr)

Rd 6: ch2, dc in the join st dc in the next 3 dc, 2dc in the next st, (dc in 4 the next dc, 2dc in the next st) 11 times, join. (72 dc)

Cut Color 2

Join Color 1 in the join st with a St Dc

Rd 7: dc in the next 4 dc, 2dc in the next st, (dc in the next 6 dc, FPtr around the next FPtr, dc in the next 5 dc, 2dc in the next st) 5 times, dc in the next 6 dc, FPtr around the next FPtr, join. (78 dc, 6 FPtr)

Cut Color 1

Join Color 2 in the join st with a St Sc
